Brian Weir, RMT

Brian Weir is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy and has been in practice since becoming registered in 2019. After serving the 100 Mile House community for over five years, Brian is excited to bring his experience and patient-centered approach to Merritt.

Brian entered the profession with a genuine desire to help people heal, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life. He believes that healing is a collaborative process and strives to empower each patient on their individual wellness journey. Recognizing that no two people are alike, Brian tailors every treatment to the unique needs and goals of the individual.

His treatment philosophy is centered on achieving the right balance between therapeutic treatment and deep relaxation. Whether addressing acute injuries, chronic pain, muscle tension, or simply helping patients manage the physical stresses of everyday life, Brian aims to create treatments that are both effective and restorative.

Committed to lifelong learning, Brian has continued to expand his clinical knowledge through training in osteopathic principles, Myofascial release, Craniosacral therapy, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF). He integrates these techniques as appropriate to provide individualized, evidence-informed care that supports optimal movement, function, and recovery.

Outside the clinic, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and three grandchildren. He’s an avid motorcyclist who enjoys both riding and working on motorcycles, and he also loves mountain biking and snowboarding whenever he has the opportunity.

Brian looks forward to welcoming both new and returning patients to his Merritt practice and is committed to providing compassionate, professional care in a comfortable and supportive environment.
